Software Setup
Correct setup of your Xero file and related add-ons is crucial to the ongoing correct functioning of the software and, therefore, the accuracy of the data in your accounts.
Your Xero software needs to be set up by an accounting professional who not only understands accounting principles, but who is also an expert in the software itself. We work with you to understand how you intend to use Xero in your business systems. We work with both you and your accountant during the setup to ensure the Xero settings are correct and in accordance with the ATO and what your business needs for day-to-day functioning and financial reporting.
We are experienced setup specialists. We can either set up a new Xero file or convert your accounts from another software system to Xero.
Xero setup would generally include setting up banks and bank feeds; customising the chart of accounts; importing open sales invoices and open supplier bills at the start date (if relevant); setting up customer and supplier contacts; payroll and employee setup; foreign currency; customising invoice settings; and setting up tracking categories if required.
